Macmillan Cancer Unit

The new Chemotherapy Unit and Macmillan Support centre for the SEHSCT at the Ulster Hospital, was a major refurbishment project of the existing 1960s building, to create a modern non-clinical space, together with a new- build rooftop extension that provides a relaxing, therapeutic environment for patients, visitors, and staff.

We worked in conjunction with Avanti Architects, to produce a striking new facility which will dramatically enhance the quality of cancer care in the area. The new facility will provide administration areas, chemotherapy consultation rooms and treatment areas, along with a Macmillan Support Centre, to deliver the latest Chemotherapy and Support Services.
